Well paternalists are doing it today, and ALL of them are SOUTHERN DEMS. They literally are, in terms of being Klan oriented (don't call a blackbyrd a spade, but hey), more racist than any protest traditionalist who believes in the confed'rate flag, or Right to Life anti-Abortion actvism... These racists like ROY KKKOOPER, are all flirtatious with the allure of the Klu Klux Klan. Think of Bill Clinton, and his West VA. ties. I'm just sayin, I'm not a Nazi or a Klansman. These dems ac tually ARE! Ask a lib dem what they believe about, say.. Benjamin Netanyahu or whomever, and often times they seem quasi-islamicist about backlash!!! I dunno, only speculating. But we need to admit as Feminism saavy Repubs (And 'Yes", there ARE "FEMINAZIS" who are self identified neo-nazis fyi), that paternalism doesn't work -
