Why, In Apposition to Utilitarianism (that which states Pain = Bad, Pleasure = Good) do we choose phenomenology & existentialism? I think, primarily,
b/c that-with-in,
we don't know pain...
Pain equals the worst phenomenal experience imaginable,
Excellence in Living constitutes the best, of the best,
the Champion of the virtues.
I've got a big bone to pick,
with people who negate Uitlitarian ethics in Medicine,
Psychotropic or otherwise..
but yes,
there is pleasure in pain,
and pain in pleasure - but when you come to the extremes,
Doth what man deoth become Duty,
Or the Movement therein,
of a Dog,
Shitting, razor,blades...
I'm seein' red.
