I'm known for being a stalwart for Neo/paleo-conservative philosophy, Tea Party activism and generally becoming more & more deplorable as the present age whizzes by...
But I do remember my first POTUS vote I ever cast was for Lifer, John Kerry. I remember the squandered elitism of Sophomoronic potheads I knew guffawing hideously at "Daily Show" laugh tracks (and it IS a 'sitcom' style "laugh track" friend), and somehow to my own discredit simply going along with it at the time. I was never dyed in the wool as a democrat constituent, but at the time John Kerry - currently head of the USA "Climate Change" initiative in governance domestically and internationally - seemed like the right choice...
To his credit,
he came out recently as having skeptical comments about Joe Biden taking his reigns of USA helmsmanship (so to speak) a bit too far. I don't know much about the details about the bloated spending for our ever increasing 'ultra-secure (I'm sure)' nanny state that the USA has become, but without looking at the details too much,
Kerry claims that there will be "Increased regulation of light and heavy pick-up trucks".
What?
I thought this was American Civilization!
I thought this was important,
I thought truth counted.
But increased regulation of pick-ups?
Something about that seems so anti-traditional. So un-American. So...
Obviously socialist. I mean, what are we to do ecoterrorist leftinista liberal faux intellectuals?
Drive a hybrid? From Toyota? Drive an electric toy car, from Tesla?
These cars are totally bloated wastes.
Maybe they don't emit as many noxious fumes (unlike liberal talking heads of late), etc... but have you seen how these new-technologies ruined what we now know to be 'automobiles' as such? I say, let's enact federal laws saying cheap nip rockets are unsafe, and replace all cars and trucks manufactured in the USA with a gnu-generation of Autos made from early 90's-style industrial grade refined quality metal!~
You know,
brick & morter~
If there's any kind of weird overarching impact on everyday Americans' right to own a good ole' boy good ole' fashioned PICK UP TRUCK, it's going to be a very very poor policy making decision.
