What Public Employee Unions are Doing to Our Country
The following is adapted from a speech delivered on February 15, 2012.
MANY SCHOLARS ARE better versed on the history of public employee unions than I am, but there is one credential I can claim that they cannot: I am a taxpayer in the People’s Republic of New Jerseystan. That makes me an authority on how public sector unions—especially at the state and local level—are thwarting economic growth, strangling the middle class, and generally hijacking the democratic process to serve their own ends rather than the public.
Now in my experience, when one says the words “New Jersey,” people for some reason think it is a laugh line. Perhaps you know us from The Sopranos or Jersey Shore. You might think that such a state has nothing to teach you. If so, you would be very wrong. New Jersey offers something that can profit the entire nation: We are the perfect bad example.
As conservatives, of course, we believe in virtue. We like to point to policies and practices that work—low taxes and light regulation for the economy, a strong national defense to keep us safe from foreign attack, and social policies that favor community over government. These are all valuable. But the bad example has its honored place as well: It’s how we illustrate our warnings.

Anti-Union Week - Obama and Alinsky
It is transparently apparent that the Democrat Establishment Machine (or D.E.M.) is tied directly to organized labor.
What is not always so apparent is how deeply these ideologies cut.
Anyone who's heard the accusations of 'Radicalism' directed at the Regime and ole 'Bama Hussein has probably heard the name of Saul Alinsky - in this 15 minute video, I make a case for 'the Messiah' having dubious connections to this 'community organizing' gangster, as well as carrying on social activism in the spirit of Alinsky.
"The administration has shown they will go after anyone or any organization who stands in their way."
-Mitch McConnell
Cut from the most recent issue of The National Review in March, this is cutting edge material.
The proof in the pudding?
ACORN, about whom we've all heard, was set up by Saul Alinsky acolytes - and the damning video that the establishment doesn't want you to know about?
'ACORN was setting up whorehouses for underage illegal aliens'

The energy department, in 2oo6, said we had - geometrically - 1 1/2 times the amount of oil in the U.S. than saudia arabia -
Shocking numbers - 1.4 trillion barrels of technically recoverable oil.
That is enough to meet every U.S. oil need for the next 200 years without importing any oil whatsoever.
Obama has talked about energy independence, yet he has not allowed us to drill domestically and has slept on even making a decision on the Keystone Pipeline.
The New Leftinista Cabal has tried to define Oil not only as limited, dirty, stenchfull, etc. It has near given Petroleum the status of Evil within the public conscience, and attacked the 'Drill Baby Drill' crowd relentlessly and bullyingly.
A decision to drill domestically could set our apocalyptic sensibility in the year of our Lord 2012 on a course towards reasonableness. It could give us a reason to feel secure about our energy into the future...
It could cause gas to, realistically, be far far less than it currently is.
As everyone knows, the U.S. is negotiating with the United Kingdom about the Strategic Oil Reserves *BIG STORY being released, and there is a 'good likelyhood' that this will take effect just about the time of the Presidential Debates moving into the fall of this year.
It absolutely is a political move, and beyond reproach in any way whatsoever.
It is a maneuver designed to take the heat out of the Repub debate on Gas Prices - so, in a sense - the regime is 'responding' to their favorite 'reality television show'.
The release of Strategic Oil Reserves by this Administration is not exactly the smartest thing to do, as it is not nearly enough oil to last for a very large time - and though it is 'Strategic' - it seems that it should only be considered should we have a National Security Threat (NST).
'Bama is anti-domestic oil drilling, and this is damagin his demography -
How does he respond?
Badmouthing the republican Candidates for POTUS.
It's just a farce.

"Vet the President"
Based in the words 'Polis' and 'Politik', Politalk is a history defining blog that ranges from 'no holds barred' to 'moderate civic duty'.
Brendan O'Connell, son of Documentary filmmaker and PBS worker Micheal O'Connell (the man responsible for that sunny donna sign outside the now defunct General Store Cafe), updates frequently with new content and always has the 'underground' edge on news that the drive-by media lacks.
With a growing fanbase averaging 50 views a day, don't be surprised if you find yourself at odds with the moral statements made in Politalk.

Let's make this week an anti-labor union week *Updated With Tea Party Video*
Loud, annoying, often bordering on criminal and historically inept at anything but pushing people around whilst claiming social justice - 'labor unions' are a growing threat to democracy.
Adam Smith wrote about Free Market Democracy in his seminal Wealth of Nations - and there is no doubt for many versed in the roots of western tradition and Republicanism that his title of "The Father of Capitalism" is well coined.
Smith was wary of 'organized labor', and we should take note of this virtual Forefather of American Exceptionalism when considering the role of worker's rights, fair trade, and the inherently Marxist racketeering of Labor Unions in an prototypical sense.
North Carolina, the state in which I live is - officially - a 'right to work' state - that is, a state by definition free of Labor Unions and racketeering.
Fight back!

Short Film: "Unions Go Home"
This is far from the syndrome in the underbelly of this beacon of light of the South, where unions laugh diabolically at our proclaimed lack of workers rights by infiltrating the state government at many locales in many instances for many people and insinuating their credibly treasonous ideology into our workplaces without out the publik's foreknowledge.
Their near 'evil' stature within the republican establishment proper has been decried by some branches of the Neo/Paleo-Conservative rubric as not taking heed of a large segment of the voting block and their sympathies, but I can attest that many leading figures in both the religious and political establishment, namely Rush Limbaugh, have decided to more or less declare them permanent enemies of Capitalism proper - and are right to do so.
Unions are more complicated in terms of their local, national, and international variants than many will let on, and even I will admit to profuse knowledge 'of' - but one thing simply drives them... money.
This is easily ascertained in contradiction to their claims of virtue, as I have defined the absolute objective truth of 'organized labor' -
Thusly and verily ~
"Unions are the anti-thesis to the thesis of Capitalism."
One is not deemed inherently off the mark for wondering if all of this derision is misplaced - however, one has to understand a simple fact to explain my completely un-timely renewed attack on Unions - and that is this:
Institutionalized/unorganized/organized labor movements alike have ascribed to and contributed to Marxist political monthly magazines. FACT.
So, without too much imagination, one can conceive of their dubious if not diabolically driven 'social' dissent as being intrinsically part of the nature of being anti-thetical to Free Market Democracy as I've termed it, Classico-Capitalism as defined at the beginning of last century, and contrary to the Protestant work ethic generally.

Rep. Dennis Kucinich given the 'Boot'
Breaking news for many in the nation, and a due judgement for the loudmouthed 'independent' segment of the democrat establishment - Rep. Dennis Kucinich has been politely asked to leave the political dialogue by the voters of Ohio.
Before I comment with leaden resolve on the innate justice of this near inevitably timely "plebiscite", I would like to mention that this 'event' will most likely be spun by the liberal hit-and-run radicalist media with not only an 'anti-romney' slanted spin, but will absurdly be abused by the Columbia schooled journalists as a way to engender undecided voters with the anti-war progressive 'cause'. CNN, MSNBC and NPR in simultaneous conjunction will insinuate itself into the conscience of republican Ginrich/Paul/Santorum supporters disheartened by Mitt's seemingly close but in all actuality decisive victory by playing on early post-9/11 pre-conscious nostalgia. I've noticed it already generally by the sheer wave of unflattering photo's of an yellow toothed Romney in full gloat; but I can near promise that the Ron Paul niche will be mined for every ounce of pro-democrat gold possible and filled to the brim with anti-conservative resentment by way of what The Hill termed an 'ousting' of Dennis 'The Menace' Kucinich.
Dennis Kucinich is more than just an shrub of rabblerousting populism~ he is an icon of the character of radical democrat ideology run rampant and bitter with shockingly ineffectual attempts at headline grabbing controversy.
Kucinich is well known within the beltline and on mainstreet as an anti-war, anti-republican, anti-american ankle-biter... and most discount his legitimacy of opinion and platform thusly.
What most will unfortunately not remember is how closely tied he was with 'Bama Hussein and his Regime and their inherent radicalism and hatred of Exceptionalism.
I need not mention much more than an post-election plane ride to elicit memories of Kucinich and the culturalatti head honcho palin' it up at the taxpayers expense.
Kucinich always struck me as the kind of person T. Wolfe coined a 'lifer', or 'flak-catcher'. A career politician who made his livelihood on theatrical displays of outrage, Kucinich's second language was laughter.
An odd combination considering the massively un-laudable 'principled stances' he made based on loosely referenced research by his underpaid staff and plum-pickled classico-progressivism rooted in hatred of god, country and mankind's principle of victory by strength.
His untimely demise will surely tearlessly be wept over by the most leftist of the left wing estabbyment, and the publik will surely remember not only his bold lack of support for the engagement of our armed forces with the muslim middle east - but also his fervor in implicitly 'empathetic' implication of Conservatives in criminality regarding militaristic endeavors. His last deceptively noblesque notable act was to specifically attempt to thwart America's military engagement in Libya by way of a sour technicality of constitutional interpretation.
Morals and ethics were Kucinich's weak suit. His 'Mr. Smith Goes to Washington-esque' declarations of contrived anti-americanism will surely tickle the conspiratorialism of the reprehensible Howard Zinn branch of the Marxist Historical Society of America for ages to come with 'on-the-record' faux-fillibusters ripped from the annals of C-Span...
...I can't say I'd place too much money on the aforemention'd librarians of the ludicrous to notice Dennis 'The Menace' Kucinich's overwhelmingly obvious contrivance of tone, content, and intention - but I'll wager our future generations will aptly forget to notice the untimely flailings, and be spared the screeching diminutive rhetoric of this pathetically noticeable classico-marxist.

Short Note to my regular Readers...
I'm noting in this blog entry that I have gone back and edited, deleted or altered several of my previous entries out of a sense of forthrightness and sincerity.
The following were edited to ensure historic continuity -
-Super Tuesday Special-
The Insider's Santorum
Domestic Democracy United - DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT ...
Romney, Santorum, and Bachmann's Pardon
and
I'm a Conservative, but...
etc.
I hope none of you hold it against me, and I'll try and be a little less biased in the future regarding my own preference within Conservative Philosophy generally speaking.
1. DDU officially acknowledges the 'negative' aspects of editing previous posts.
2. If you calculate the word count proper to words that were 'edited', my accuracy rating remains 98.7, despite the lamestream media's accounts to the contrary.
3. The Domestic Democracy United SuperPAC and otherwise is officially 'closed' until further notice.
Thanks for your continued support - in the coming months I will focus primarily on commentary predominately derived from William F. Buckley Jr.'s The National Review.
Disclaimer - Please note that all 'controversial' opinions have remained unedited in the spirit of self-sacrifice, philosophical integrity, and a knowledge that many of you, Trollface.ru readers especially, frequent my page for said 'edge'.
Secondary Disclaimer - My reason's for partially backing Santorum and forming a Political Action Committee were all too 'transparent', and I apologize.
Tertiary Disclaimer - Sorry about the official-ness etc. and disclaimers etc., but I am partially logging this material for the purposes of _REDACTED_.

-Super Tuesday Special-
The tumult on this historic super tuesday is punctuated thusly by an hard brawl which almost broke out at the bar I went to on this night of our lord, March 6 2012.
The fact that this brawl was started by the founder of domestic democracy united SuperPAC, and was followed by several threats of superiority on the basis my 98.7 percent accuracy rating, only show the uncanny ability of DDU to not only respond to news releases, but to raise local ire and bequeath the southern gentlemen's club of NC with plentiful fodder and gossip.
The brawl which almost occurred was put to rest by DDU's public support and lack of empathy for the cowardice of the Marxist wing of the liberal establishment - fortunately, I didn't have enough of a pre-disposition towards recompense to deride mine opponent with fisticuffs - but seemingly enough, I left the pub with his puny ideology utterly decimated and the last word copyrighted, penned and signed in blood with Domestic Democracy United's stamp.
It is unfortunate that I had to resort to such low measures to prove a massive political point in the midst of an drunken audience, but the crude-mouthed heathen proffered a duel outside the massively publik'd pub, and I gently motioned him towards the door -
-to which he responded, "fuck you republican".
A man has two things, it was once said - his honor, and his word.
This, as one would aptly decry, leftist marxist clearly showed he has little integrity in regards to either.
The hometown kid wins.

DDU# - Needles & Pins
Welcome to politalk.
Today I'd like to mention a few things regarding the philosophy of politics, or - the politics of philosophy.
Either way, often what can make or break a candidate is their underlying philosophy on what 'the good life' entails, and how to make such an abstraction possible by way of their given platform.
Most of this is generally understood to be nonsense, as proclamations, promises, and pitches made on the campaign trail are far less important than a given candidate's Philosophical background.
I know not of the many nuances between the potential candidates for the republican POTUS nomination - however, I do have a fine little book sitting next to my computer called The Tea Party Manifesto -
I'll try and analyze a few bits and hope you'll be willing to draw your own conclusions and idea's from this small Manifesto~
First of all, the subtitle to the book is 'A Vision for an American Rebirth', and of course two things pop to mind from such a finely written sub-header -
A) America as we know it is dead.
B) Rebirth could mean a prosperous age of Renaissance.
That may not be the only way of interpreting rebirth, as it could, for all I know, mean america needs to be 'born again' - the most likely explanation.
America, at this very moment, is moving towards fascism... and I don't want to just toss that word out there and not take any responsibility for it.
There are, these days, two kinds of 'fascists'-
-the ones with large mustaches and emphasized shoulders in military regalia who abuse power without the consent of the governed.
and there are
-the ones without large mustaches who have moderate suits, play golf and abuse power without the consent of the governed.
Obviously, we encounter the latter far more than the former... but hey, us American's have never had the real panache for displays of totalitarianism publicly.
But the fact is we're moving towards the second kind of fascism - the kind with a big friendly grin and 110 percent convincing language.
Most people recognize government as this gigantic monolithic beast of burden who swallows human decency while leaving behind in it's wake some sort of bureaucracy from hell; what they might not recognize is that it poses the greatest threat to freedom. The more power it has, the less freedom the individual has.
Seminal Individualist Philosopher Soren Kierkegaard once said of this in 'Fear and Trembling' -This is a terrible thing. He who does not see it can always be sure that he is no knight of faith, but he who sees it will not deny even the most tried of tragic heroes walks with a dancing step compared with the knight of faith, who comes slowly creeping forward.-
Perhaps one, at this juncture, might think - oh how sophomoric to raise this problem when in fact it's just bloated out of proportion and based on corporatist traditions and theologies which aren't even interpreted properly.
Perhaps, so I'll just put forth a few examples of why this behemoth of the rapidly growing centralized government is such a clear and present danger:
1) In 2002, the Swedish Constitution was amended to criminalize criticism of Homosexuality. "Disrespect" of Homosexuality became punishable by two years in jail.
2)In the Saskatoon Star Phoenix, a mister Owens took out an advertisement that merely contained passages from Romans, Leviticus, and I Corinthians. He was charged with Hate Speech and fined $9,000.
3)Most recently, a young woman got on a tram in england where she was literally beset on all sides by immigrants. She got into a recorded conversation with them, where she lamented that this was no longer her England and that the immigrants should "go back to where they came from". She was arrested and charged.
These three examples show that in the world one used to have a certain amount of dignity regarding belief, tradition, and class - and how this has now degenerated into a potentially libelous masquerade of atheistic humanists. Humanism has a long tradition which I won't go into... but the cult of humanism as it has become today almost out numbers those of the Judeo-Christian tradition who willfully carry on the eternal flame of our ancestors and Nations, Republics, and Democracies worldwide.
We don't need a Nanny State shoving whatever newfangled psuedo-science doctrine they've conjured up down our throats any more than I need another television show or public school classroom telling the young what morality they should adhere to.
I don't make a big deal of morality generally, but one ruefully notes that the traditional morality has all but disappeared from public discourse and we are awash in a sea of multi-culturalistic garbage with nothing to grab on to but lies and lies and more lies.
They drift through our fingers until we loose all hope and sink to the bottom of a blood red ocean which is more than gleefully contrived to cheerfully let us rot in unmarked graves, lost to history, dead to the future, alive only in beastly heredity.
America is Dead.
In every stage of this oppression we have petitioned for redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.

Jeremiah 36:4
4 Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah: and Baruch wrote from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the Lord, which he had spoken unto him, upon a roll of a book.
5 And Jeremiah commanded Baruch, saying I am shut up; I cannot go into the house of the Lord:
6 Therefore go thou, and read in the roll, which thou hast written from my mouth, the words of the Lord in the ears of the people in the Lord's house upon the fasting day: and also thou shalt read them in the ears of all Judah that come out of their cities.
7 It may be they will present their supplication before the Lord, and will return every one from his evil way: for great is the anger and the fury that the lord hath pronounced on his people.
8 And Baruch the son of Neriah did according to all that Jeremiah the prophet commanded him, reading in the book the words of the Lord in the Lord's house.
9 And it came to pass in the fifth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, in the ninth month, that they proclaimed a fast before the Lord to all the people in Jerusalem, and to all the people that came from the cities of Judah unto Jerusalem.
10 Then read Baruch in the book the words of Jeremiah in the house of the Lord, in the chamber of Gemeriah the son of Shaphan the scribe, in the highest court, at the entry of the new gate if the Lord's house, in the ears of all the people.
11 When Michaiah the son of Gemariah, the son of Saphan had heard out of the book all the words of the Lord,
12 Then he went down into the king's house, into the scribe's chamber: and, lo, all the princes sat there, even Elishama the scribe, and Delaiah the son of Shemaiah, and Elnathan the son of Achbor, and Gemariah the son of Shaphan, and Zedekiah the son of Hananiah and all the princes.
13 Then Michaiah declared unto them all the words that he had heard when Baruch read the book in the ears of the people.
14 Therefore all the princes sent Jehudi the son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Cu'shi, unto Baruch, saying, Take in thine hand the roll wherein thou hast read in the ears of the people, and come. So Baruch the son of Neriah took the roll in his hand and came unto them.
15 And they said unto him, Sit down now, and read it in our ears. So Baruch read it in their ears.
16 Now it came to pass, when they had heard all the words, they were afraid both one and other, and said unto Baruch, We will surely tell the king of all of these words.
17 And they asked Baruch, saying, Tell us now, how didst thou write all these words at his mouth?
18 Then Baruch answered them, He pronounced all these words unto me with his mouth and I wrote them with ink in the book.
19 Then said the princes unto Baruch, Go, hide thee, thou and Jeremiah: and let no man know where ye be.
20 And they went in to the king into court, but they laid up the roll in the chamber of Elishama the scribe, and told all the words in the ears of the king.
21 So the king sent Jehudi to fetch the roll; and he took it out of Elishama the scribe's chamber. And Jehudi read it in the ears of all the princes which stood beside the king.
22 Now the king sat in the winterhouse in the ninth month: and there was a fire on the hearth burning before him.
23 And it came to pass, that when Jehudi had read three or four leaves, he cut it with a penknife, and cast it into the fire that was on the hearth, until all the roll was consumed in the fire that was on the hearth.
24 Yet they were not afraid, nor rent their garments, neither the king, nor any of his servants that heard all these words.
25 Neverthekess Elnathan and Delaiah and Gemariah had made intercession to the king that he would not burn the roll: but he would not hear them.
26 But the king commanded Jerahmeel the son of Hammelech, and Seraiah the son of Azriel, and Shelemiah the son of Abdeel, to take Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet: but the Lord hid them.
27 The word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, after that the words which Baruch wrote at the mouth of Jeremiah saying,
28 Take thee again another roll, and write in it all the former words that were in the first roll, which Jehoiakim the king of Judah hath burned.
29 And thou shalt say to Jehoiakim king of Judah, Thus saith the LORD… †hou hast burned this roll, saying 'Why hast thou written therein' saying 'The king of Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this land and shall cause to cease from thence man and beast'
30 Therefore thus saith the Lord of Jehoiakim king of Judah; He shall have none to sit upon the throne of David: and his dead body shall be cast out in the day to the heat, and in night to the frost.
31 And I will punish him and his seed and his servants for their iniquity; and I will bring upon them, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and upon the men of Judah, all the evil that I have pronounced against them, but they harkened not.
32 Then took Jeremiah another roll, and gave it to Baruch the scribe the son of Neriah, who wrote there-in from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire: and there were added besides unto them many like words.
