OUR GOD

 “Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” – Ephesians 3:20-21, NRSV

 
Dear Pittsboro United Methodist Church,
 
The first time I read these words from the Apostle Paul, I remember chuckling to myself because how could something be “far more than all?” You either have all of something, or not all of something… you can’t have “more than all” of something. But when we think of the faithfulness of God, I cannot think of better words. Because God, through the power of the Holy Spirit, continues to bless our community in ways that are “abundantly more than all we can ask or imagine.”
 
We ask for you to take all of this information into account as you prayerfully consider what you and/or your family might be able to give to PUMC in 2024. To move forward, we need your continued support so we can continue being a light in Pittsboro and Chatham County.
 
You are encouraged to fill out the commitment card in your packet and bring it to worship any Sunday between now and October 8^th. We have an online version of the commitment card below.
