Here is where we stand:
The Debt Ceiling compromise has been passed, meaning the bi-partisan push succeeded, which is saying a lot for a divided nation.
Trump seems to be going out of vogue for many on the Right, which is a shame b/c he is, likely, the presumptive nominee.
Mike Pence is running for POTUS, just announcing that he'll announce his bid next week.
The war in Ukraine seems to be ramping up, and rumor has it that Russia is about to go "Full Frontal Invasion" on Ukraine and Europe, as per WW2. Let's hope for the best!
There is a lot of concern in our nation about gun violence, so all I'll say in regards to that is it seems to be a lot of violence, however there has always been violence in the world... it's not that guns don't kill people, people kill people - but rather lack of accountability in governance generally is the a priori root cause of exacerbated trends in gun violence.
