I've been saying previous on this blog and also vocally on my podcast, that the Iranian people are a cultured, enlightened and all around good peoples. There are many reasons for me to say so, but amongst them is merely this: There are Iranians who are fans of heavy metal. I would say that the extremism of many of the Iranian leaders does not reflect the wishes of the Iranian people as a whole. Now I'm not playing suck up to the Iranian public, however I know for a fact that not all Iranians are anti-American.
One of the reasons I say this is there was a there was an official march to step on the American flag. Kind of like a hate America holiday so to speak. And we were able to suss out some security camera footage of many Iranians who refused. They literally went around the American flag as opposed to treading on it. That to me says a lot about the people of Iran. So now when I hear that we're going officially into war with Iran, I just have to repeat we want those people to have a democracy.
So remember often times the leaders of a government don't reflect the people who live in that country. So remember every death is a real death. It doesn't matter whether it's on the axis side, or the allied side. All human life is equal.
Unfortunately, many people don't have the luxury of a functioning democracy.
That's why I support nation building.
We need to build these guys a real government that isn't a terrorist regime of anti-semitic Holocaust deniers.
I just learned this morning that we may be taking a step over the red line to war.
So I would say to everybody out there is...
Run for cover!
